Any suggestions on approx. age and attribute the piece to a certain maker or at least country of production?
    Thanks

    Hi,
With all of those bubbles, I would think New Chinese.

Is not it normal for old glass to have occasional bubbles? Never seen that base on Chinese pieces but won't be surprised that they would fake old pontil.

    Hi,
An occasional bubble in old ones. yes but those numerous bubbles, I do not think so.

Bubbles can appear in glass of any age and really only speaks to the quality of the maker. Sometimes they are intentional and a part of the design other they do not play a role in the design as in this case indicating either a newer blower or a hurried production modle. Too much work to pitch out. China is a good guess.
