Antique frame with interesting writing on back

    I bought this for 50 cents on Sat. I just liked the writing on the back of the board. The frame itself was falling apart.

    That's the way they wrote it back then.
    Pity Mr Abraham Watson's glass is missing. But the way it is, could be art in itself.

    I'd nail or glue the frame back together to frame the writing.(LOL) Whoever wrote that was trained in the 18th Century. It makes me wonder what was in the frame.

    The elderly lady who passed away ran a gift shop on the Cape for many years. The house, cottage and two barns were chock full. No way of knowing where she got it or if there was ever a picture in it. I definitely intend to keep it in the frame. I wonder if Abraham Watson ever got his glass. It's the same place I got my sleigh.
