Antique fishing pole handle

    I have never seen a fishing pole handle like this before. Does anyone know who the maker is ? Has part of the label peeled off, only showing genuine .
    Has a pat no on bottom metal part .

    Billy, can you verify the patent number? To me, it looks like 4606019. but that number isn't bringing up anything like this.

    Billy, it's a 1940 patent for a fishing rod handle! Inventor GEORGE O. BENSON for CHISOLM RYDER CO, INC. Here's the illustration:
