    The 1797 penny and twopence were the first official British coins to be minted with a steam powered press.

    The One Penny weighs one ounce and the Two Penny weighs two ounces.
    They are made of pure copper and because they were heavy they got edge dings when dropped.
    They do not have a denomination on them so visually they are identical.
    In hand it is obvious because of weight and size.
