This looks like a chalice cup but not sure.it is handmade from bronze? Also has a silver liner that does not come out all one piece. Anyone have any information on this or what it may be? 20240806_191652.jpg 20240806_191716.jpg 20240806_191701.jpg 20240806_191800.jpg 20240806_191806.jpg 20240806_191644.jpg

I couldn't find anything. Maybe try your luck with terms like "mixed media." I know of one company, Heintz, that used bronze with silver, but the silver is used as an accent on their pieces. Yours looks more in line with a piece of art than the design of Heintz items. Good luck.

It is the original Holy Grail........ or a modern brutalist artisan piece. Take your pick

Sorry, couldn't resist. Unless you can find similar work attributed to a particular artist, think this will be impossible to pin down. Do think it fairly modern so looking at traditional mixed-metal company work will be a dead end.

For what it may be worth...it has the appearance to me of a brass or bronze sheet-metal vessel that's been badly damaged (crushed?), which has been re-shaped, then lined with a silver cup. There's something about it that is particularly appealing, in that resurrected sense...I like it!
