Well, I have a Prime Minister , that I got at a hockey game I went to with my Dad when I was a lad !
Dad spied him in the crowd near us , & cajoled me to waddle on over to him.
I was shy......but went anyways ....:inpain:

I have several well known hockey players , but none received at the rink..:wideyed:

I have a boxing great, a comedy great, a movie star, a couple of 1st Nations legends , a major tattoo artist from France , a Quebec music star , a couple of others I've lost or forgotten about, and I sold a Y. Karsh signed photo of a famous Prime Minister...........

None of which are or were 100 years old...;)...:playful:

( & I have a personal hockey stick, put in my hand by Ivan Cournoyer..... unsigned , but that don't bother me one bit !!
I did try to get him to sign it a few years ago.....but Covid got in the way !! )

I have a photo of Bill Reid , taken and signed by the renowned photographer Sam Tata..... presented to me while he lived in Montreal.
I think that's my favourite ..

I had a hospital visitor book with King George V and Queen Consort Mary signatures and a photograph of them signing it.

Davey that is a fine antique! My husband had his tow bar for his airplane signed by Chuck Yeager. At the time Chuck Yeager was close to an antique does that count?

I used to have first person to walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong, which I remember as being somewhat rare, but it became wet and mildewed after storage in a basement that we thought was dry but that actually wasn't.

(And I think that convoluted sentence I just wrote is actually grammatically correct!)

Not an antique, but i had an autograph from Jim Backus from the early 1960's.
My family was at the drive in and so was he.
    Nice guy for sure.

I've just recovered an autograph book from my Dads belongings, it belonged to my aunt who was quite pretty and never married.

She worked as a chamber maid in large hotels in Nottingham, Birmingham and York (UK) in the late 20's and throughout the 30's
Its full of autographs of famous sportsmen and actors who stayed at those hotels.

I've not really examined it fully yet but I have found the sigs of "Stainless Stephen" Arthur Clifford Baynes, a radio and variety comedian from the 30's and some members of the England football and Cricket teams.

I recently sold this sig and self drawn caricature of an English music hall and film comedian George Robey
I found it among documents in a house clearance.

Here's some pages from my aunts autograph book.
Some are racist so I have not posted them.

I've already mentioned this guy, Stainless Stephen and it has a Ciggie Card adhered.

    Research shows he described himself as;

“stainless, painless, brainless, shameless, aimless, semi-conscious and approaching semi dotage

This one is also an English comedian known as Tommy Handley 1892-1949 known as ITMA (Its that man again)

I'm struggling with these, although I can read some of them I don't know who they are.
All obtained between 1928 and 1933
