I bought this glass thing at a thrift store today. I had no idea what the stickers "auto vase" meant, but a little research revealed it's a vase for a vehicle (pretty self-explanatory). It's a dark brown color and appears to be hand blown. My main question is, is it worth anything as an antique? And any other information about this would be - much appreciated too!

P.S. My camera didn't have batteries at the moment, so I took the pics with my Ipod. If clearer pics are needed I can take some.

I believe this is an epergne horn rather than an auto vase.

I agree with Bookahtoo And Ownedbybear it is an epergne horn. Auto vases are usually straight V shapes and have a metal brackets to attach to cars. Epergnes are decorative flower vases usually used as centerpieces which can have straight or curved horns like yours. As for worth.....yes it has value to somebody who wants one to replace a broken horn from their epergne......Yours being an unusual shape and color would make it harder to sell (I'm Guessing) because finding somebody with the matching set, which is missing a piece, would be difficult. However anybody that DOES need this shape and color would be very pleased to find one. Here are some epergne pictures.
