I purchased this recently and have been searching the web for something like it with no luck. Total height is 13 1/2 inches, metal mirror frame IMG_0856.jpg IMG_0857.jpg IMG_0858.jpg measures 8 1/2 X 6 in. Post is nickel plated as well as thumb screw and other hardware. Seems to have a medical vibe or possibly scientific? Dental? Jewelry store counter top? From 1900 or so?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

    Definitely not an antique yet.

No makers marks may have had a decal that is long gone. IMO the slotted screws and nickel plating dates it back to at least the 1940s but IDK?

Still wouldn't be antique, needs to be 100 years old for that :)

Yes, understood and my mistake for using the Antique label. I'm good with Vintage or MMC.

You wondered if it was ca 1900, and if it had been, it would have been antique.;)

This came out of a room where there was a ton of vintage photography equipment. Developers, light boxes, enlargers, mostly Kodak stuff

The way it pans or is adjustable from side to side and up and down...maybe some sort of photography light refraction/reflecting mirror?
