The star on top seems like it unscrews - this is like a large wood puzzle. I just don’t want to break the wood carved arms. Anyone who is an electrician with experience on something like this please?

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Do you see any way those arms were probably screwed into the dome (maybe top half....not sure!?) then smoothed over, then painted over.....look VERY carefully.............BTW, what I can see of that lamp, looks stunning!!!

Just a thought....maybe you could take a Close-Up or two of where one of those 'arms' joints the globe??? That could be very helpful to 'other eyes'!!!:):)

Wood? Think there should be a finial top, bottom, or both that unscrews. Think you are on the right track with the star. Is there another on the bottom?
