    This may be what Ansonia called the "Regulator A"
    They made other wall clock models as well.

    A very widely sold wall clock from the 1880s to the 1920s, at one time almost ubiquitous in any American interior. This one is New York made so not an early one. Horologically it is pretty run of the mill, and yours seems a little dirty. A bit of polish would help it.

    Yes a good clean is needed but want to leave as much patina as possible
