Featured Another purse, older this time?! Leather with metal frame

    Picked up this little darling as part of a local estate auction lot. It isn't in the best condition but it's so sweet. Leather body with attached interior mirror. It's 6.5"L excluding handle. I know it has some age but can you provide any info? Thanks as always :)

    No wonder it's in a bit of a state - my guess is it's over 100 years old. When you're that old you'll be a little tattered too.

    Late nineteenth, into early 20th. Kid or lambskin. Might be French. Very nice indeed.

    Thanks! I haven't tested it yet but I can do. There actually looks like there may have been some kind of coating on the metal at some point, you can see it on the side view of the frame.
