Angry Angry hippo

I have like a ton of stuff I want to post about and most likely I won't get a chance to but this guy is kind of cool. He really caught my eye. He is just so angry looking. At least I think it's a hippo. Maybe it is something else?... but what? Ya, know I am not so sure that is a hippo on second thought.

And to think I always thought hippos were cute. Those are some mean looking hippos. I think I have heard they are responsible for more deaths than any other wild animal but I may have just read that on the internet some where. It may or may not be true. I haven't known too many personally. ;-)

 

They are seriously dangerous and likely it's because it's known they just eat vegetation....but they will kill anything they can get hold of.
It is why I said the other day that even lions won't go near them.

Ha! I saw that and just now caught on. LOL!

We have a town here named Hutto and the mascot is a Hippo. There is a legend. Actually, it isn't a legend it really did happen. There is an old newspaper article about it. Anyways, the circus came to town on the train and while they were there a hippo got loose. They found it weeks later down in the San Gabriel river or something. Anyways, ever since then it has been the Hutto Hippo's and there are hippos all over town. Everyone buys these statues and paints them. All businesses and just about every house has a hippo on the lawn. Some of them are pretty funny.

 

Now that's pretty cool!

I swear I didn't do it on purpose. I only saw the other hippo after I posted and I got a huge kick out of it. Thinking hippos must be popular this month. LOL!

I saw a YouTube video recently where they had people laying stomach down on skateboards, other guys holding their feet and pushing them back & forth. The ones on the boards had plastic beach pails and there were big plastic colored balls on the floor and they were doing a live version
