Hello. I have a question regarding an item that has been in the family for some years. We don't know the original origin of this item or who exactly purchased it, but it was kept for a long time.

It is an Andrew Wyeth "Northern Point" print on wood. The item measures 5" x 7".

There is writing on the reverse side. Anyone recognize this piece?

I'm sure it's not a real Andrew Wyeth, but I'd like to know any possible information.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

Here's what the print should looks like

Yours has an awful lot of "foxing" from the acid in the wood behind it and must have been in too much direct sunlight that faded it.

Might just be discolored varnish. Decoupage?

Very typical for decorating wood panels, boxes, bowls with prints :)

Likely 1960s-1970s when he was at the height of his fame. (Painted in 1950 so can't be earlier.)
