Yup! I'm keeping that huge bling bracelet , the bling necklaces and clips and the Aloha bracelet. And the other bracelet, which is silver and has just cleaned up nicely.

Is the compact silver ? Love the frame ! The "sapphire and diamond" bracelet is fabulous.

Bear, have you tested the Hawaiian chain for gold content? The rest looks plated, but that looks 14k from the photo.. Best wishes for this to be the case!

What stone(?) is your first ring pictured?

I've not tested it, I shall go have a squint. The stone on the purple ring is glass - I'm keeping that, too, I like those sort of sixties ish adjustable ones.

Bear, which one is the silver bracelet - the one in the box marked "rolled gold"?

Yup, that's the one. Tarnished to heck it was. I dipped it. ;) Don't normally do that, but on a woven one, it's sometimes the only option.

Great finds. Is the red enamel thing a picture frame or brooch?. I like that deep red enamel.
You are a very bad influence, I’ve just been surfing FB and bought a cameo and lots of old Czech necklaces to restring. The search facility has to be the most useless ever though. Maybe there are some tricks I haven’t discovered yet.

It's a terrible search engine, I think worse than ebay! When you figure out the tricks, KSW, please let us know! :smug:

It’s very odd and definitely far worse than eBay.
I ask it for vintage jewellery and I’m offered an old lawnmower and some homemade samosas!.
I’ve taken to screenshotting anything I’m enquiring about as the chances of finding it again are practically zilch.
I search in the jewellery section and it searches clothing or property for sale.
Totally frustrating but still fun when I’ve run eBay dry!.
I thought eBay listings sometimes had poor photos but Facebook people trump eBay any day with out of focus, distant pictures that are usually only part of what you want to see!
Frustrating when you find something good and they won’t post although I have sent a couple of sellers postage labels and arranged a courier to pick it up from their door.

It's a picture frame - modern, but rather nice. I think the charm bracelet is huge fun. If ever I get a cruise again......!

This is how you have led me astray OBB!
£10 including one other brooch. I had to request a photo of the back.

Lots of old necklaces for £25 to restring and make beautiful again! All glass except the yellow and brown on the left. Not sure if the pink in the bag will be glass but pretty anyway.

That brooch looks decent. Nice beads, too, those chained ones with barrel clasps will be 20s or 30s ish. I bet the yellow will take to UV. ;)

Don’t tell Bronwen I only bought the cameo for the gold as it’s a bit twee for my liking!. I’m a total sucker for those old necklaces though!

I did that with a cameo, super gold frame. I've kept it though. ;)
