Featured An Unexpected Auction Win

    Joined an on line auction last night and bid on this vase. Then forgot about it until this morning. Voila! I won it. Usually I get outbid with this auctioneer. Isn't it pretty? I know carnival doesn't bring the huge prices any more, but I think this vase was worth it.

    I looked it up on Doty's site. It's a Northwood Thin Rib vase in the Jester's Cap version which he says was scarce. Purple of course. I did a little better than OK on the price.

    So sad that I de-accessioned all my Carnival Glass when we moved. I should have divorced Jon for making me choose. :(. I do have too much stuff, though
