Ametrine?

Just glued on a cheap bracelet but would these be Ametrine please? Closest I can find online!

Quartz. Ametrine is yellow and purple, generally artificially colored/irradiated. These are lord-knows-what. I'd classify it as Random Pretty Rock.

 

These are yellow and purple! Difficult to get a good shot though , maybe need to do it in daylight.

Looks like rough ametrine, the growth form of the amethyst looks natural. Gem quality is smoother with much better clarity. Also ametrine is quartz, just yellow and purple quartz formed together. Most gem quality ametrine is lab grown or heavily processed.

 

Those were 60s and 70s kit pieces. I'm trying to remember who did them.

 

I can remember making one at school. They were all the rage back then. I seem to remember all the gems dropping off mine soon after!

 

The glue was lousy.

Yes could be. Tbh, I may just soak the stones off as they are much nicer than the bracelet.
