Very nice... love the woods, shapes, and decorations.

I particularly like the next to last one, with the flower. I can't tell if it's a print, painting, or embroidery?

 

My guess...reverse painted on glass.

 

Could be. The white background kind of looks like a fine linen fabric to me, but it could be what I'm seeing is actually brush strokes.

 

All the pictures are either etched for the earliest ones or reverse painted on glass later. Original glass and makers labels are valued by collectors.

Such a hard choice, but #2 with #4 and #6 coming in a strong 2nd.

Do you have an idea of how old they are?

 

I like them all. I was supposed to be given a Banjo clock with a painting in it and never got it.
I do have a mini one that needs restoration and so maybe.......

 

Going by the labels the oldest is 1855 (E O Brewster & Son) the others range from the 1850s (Ansonia Brass Company) to the 1870s, (Welch and New Haven and Seth Thomas.

As far as I can tell the glasses are original.

 

#4 #5 & #6 are all kitchen timer clocks which is fab. My husband is a clock maker and he would love them for sure.

 

I don't think they would be much good as kitchen timers, the central dials are for a normal alarm clock and were never all that accurate. The nearest quarter hour would probably be about a close as you'd get to a specific time but if you left it undisturbed you would be woken at about the same time each day
