American Copper Vessel, thoughts?

    I purchased this rather handsome copper vessel in central PA at a flea market. I believe it is an apple butter vessel. But I’m not certain. It is extraordinarily worn. It has a stamp on the bottom that I cannot decipher. Would love to know anyone’s thoughts. Thank you very much.

    It's a pot. What quantity of liquid does it hold? Cups, ounces, whatever.

    Please show us the worn stamp anyway.
