Amberina Glass Stand

Any idea of the maker?

I'm fairly certain that it is Viking also, however, I haven't been able to find this shape at vikingartglass.com or in Dean Six's book on Viking Glass. Not really Amberina, the color variance is due to the way orange is achieved. The piece is restruck/reheated to turn what would otherwise be a yellow color to orange. It's not unusual for a piece to retain some of the yellow due to the piece not being heated evenly. Viking called their orange "Persimmon"

 

this Viking Art Glass #7232 Persimmon 'Epic Spiked Candle Bowl' was in the 1974 catalog. I see lots of these called 'finger compotes'
