Merry Christmas, and other seasonally appropriate greetings, to every one of you! I've been so very fortunate to have stumbled on this site, and have learned many, many delightful things about my eclectic offerings. Thanks, y'all!

These spoons are different in a small, but I believe significant, detail: the tips of the handles show that one is about 3mm longer than the other, and it appears to have been intentionally formed so. Is this a traditional distinction, and if so, is it gender-based? Are they formal or special occasion utencils?

The gold birds (cranes?) and stylized foliage/flowers are identical, as are the markings on the back; AG925, & 03-5523 (pattern number?)...but I beg for help with the 3 Korean characters. I'm vaguely aware that the Korean syllabary has been 'modernized' fairly recently (post-1955?), and believe that these are of the newer form. I showed them to an elderly (85+) Korean gentleman a few years ago; he couldn't read them.
They are ~8 5/8" long; the pair are ~3.9 oz troy.

Any illumination is grateful received, and promptly acknowledged. Thanks for lookin'!

Thanks...I don't see any of my characters in that comprehensive listing, but am probably overlooking something important!
After checking eBay's listings I'm pretty sure these aren't particularly unique. They're called rice spoons; the odd little peak at the tip of the bowl is a common characteristic, an' the gold decoration at the other end is also pretty ubiquitous. They're often in sets with silver chopsticks...there's over 800 listings under 'Korean silver spoons' as a search term!
