Here in South West France...Plenty Car boots sale and Brocante around.....!!!!!
Well... Think,I have been gruged on this item....Despite That I will use it for an appropriate reason ...
Oh God... It was so Dusty.. Put apart..Without any price etc... Well ... Took it and asked ...What that...??? Very clever answer... I think it came from previous Vietnamese colons time in Asia...Etc ETc...
Ok... Did like the Dusty Wee Trunk with the rose topping...!!!And managed to buy it for ...Not a Fortune...65Eur...After bargain;;;
Dims are: H20cm x W 20cm Up part cover 13cm x 10 cm
Well... Arrived home... Took time to clean,inspect and check.....Then understood that was not a masrepiece but a nice copy of whatever it can be call..?????
Now inspecting... It is not Wood , Marble or Brass ...But perhaps Resine..or even plastic...????
For sure I will use it for an adequate purpose....Not enough Jewellery at the moment....Maybe something else....
Looking forward to as usual direct me with right and accurate directions and advices...Yours faithfully Cool...JB ....

And European, rather than Asian. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Italian. Could even be French.
I wonder if it was modelled after crystal boxes with gilded decorations, with the leaves and rose gilt brass (on the original).
