    Hello, I've had this print for about 20 yrs. I have no idea where I got it. It is 13x9 in. I haven't been able to find the same print online. Any ideas on value and/or time period? Also is in original frame.

    His asking prices seem to be drastically different from the selling price.he seemed to be fairly prolific,so I wouldnt think its terribly valuable as of yet. maybe in the future?

    Well, Alec Cowan died in 1985, so it can't be more recent than that.

    Have you been able to decipher the second word in the title?

    Hm. You could be right, Komo. Seems strange that the n in "ancient" and the one at the end of Cowan aren't the same as what would be one in signs, though.

    The best I can figure out is Fegrs, figrs, and neither make any sense. It's been driving me crazy for years.

    Point taken...but ...2 are the same and the 3rd looks like it's cramped and the writer was distracted...
    It's feels right...Ancient Signs....whereas Ancient Fegers....not so much !! :hilarious::hilarious:
