    Hi all was hoping one of you might know what this etching is of. got artists name I believe but can't work out what the first words are

    westowy???(some castle in germany, poland/silesia or the czech republic, somewhere in central europe) von Südwesten(from the south west).

    Chris, I may be wrong, but to me, it looks like WARTBURG von
    SÜDWESTERN    , or Wartburg from the southwest, or something like that.

    (Wartburg is a castle that overlooks Eisenach in Thuringia, Germany.)

    I'm with you opoe that's what I saw how sb got Warburg from that is beyond me well done sb 15096129273940.jpg spot on
