Featured Aladdin Aluminum Oil Lamp

    Looking for any info on this Aladdin lamp. 11 1/2" tall. The chimney is 12" long. Number 23 burner.

    Is that aluminum or nickle plated brass? Sure is in excellent condition!

    I'm assuming aluminum since it's lighter in weight.

    I think most of these were made in the UK in the seventies.

    They have very little interest amongst collectors.

    They were also produced by the millions in Brazil for the South American market, with the aluminum or pressed glass tank. Serviceable, though, and more brilliant than most electric lamps to this day.
