Alabaster jade?

    These are typically alabaster stone from Italy. You don't provide dimensions but... Looks like a cigarette box.

    Thanks for the info. It measures about 4.5" x 3" x 2 tall

    It's quite heavy too!

    I agree with Debora, Italian alabaster cigarette box, fifties or sixties. Looks hand painted.
