AK47 BAYONET?

    I found this at a local pawn shop - the guy said it was a ak47 bayonet (I think - I bought it months ago & just came across it yesterday after misplacing it -so I think he said ak47 but I could be remembering wrong).

    Any idea what rifle this was for? It's smaller than most bayonets, but is actually a good size for a hunting/camping knife. Except it has a unusually wide handle!
