Hi there. From what I gather here, Imari is generally considered to be Japanese. Are you thinking this is Chinese take on Imari? I know nothing about Asian porcelain, so I can't help you but where you may find answers is to research your mark on Antique Chinese Porcelain collector's help and info page (gotheborg.com) This wonderful site includes photos of antique Japanese and Chinese marks. There are also sites that have photos of modern marks.

Yes, go there and look at the Ming marks, but modern.

There is Chinese "imari" of course, but it is not commonly found and can get pretty pricey - these items are both Japanese and I quite like the second one, older and better quality, looks like a kogo missing the lid (depending on the size of course ...could be a huge jardiniere also :jawdrop:)

Thanks for speaking to the idea of Chinese Imari. I generally avoid buying asian pottery as I know nothing about this matter I love seeing things through your eyes so I can learn to see
