Well, thing is, I don't know much about this furniture, way out of my area of interest.
This is more Ghopper era and THERE he is, right as I am typing this!

Pin and Cove or Knapp Joint was only used about 30 years so do a bit of research to get an approx era !

Thanks. That’s about what James said. Good to know it was exclusive more or less to a specific era. Makes it easy next time I see it!!!

Sure does, very distinctive drawer construction.
Steam-powered machines largely took over furniture making in the 1840s in America, almost everything except drawer boxes. It took 50 years, ( with Knapp joint exception), to finally figure out how to cut dovetails by machine.
It is very common to see victorian furniture which dominated style-wise in the second half of the 19th century to see the case built by machines but the drawer boxes built by hand.

It certainly is unique. I’m still relatively new to all this but it was the first time I’ve seen it. 125 years later or so and we can 3D print basically anything under the sun. Quite the leap forward in what’s a short time span in the grand scheme.
