Age of Brass Candlesticks

    Hi, These candlesticks are about 10 1/2 inches tall and sturdy/heavy at about 1 1/2 pounds each. Can anyone tell approx. age and/or origin from the base construction? They appear to be made from 2 pieces, but do not come apart.

    Late 20th c or later, likely from India, IMO.

    Indian, certainly. Could be a bit earlier, these do go back a while. Maybe 40s or a bit later.
