Another of my rescued scraps of jewellery!. I don't know what it was originally as it doesn't seem to have a brooch back broken off.
Before I set sail cleaning it any ideas on dating it or where it came from?
    Thankyou. :)

Some sort of chatelaine ornament? I'd rather see it clean.

Ummm, pretty sure those are supposed to be cherries...

Can't shake the feeling that I've seen these, or similar, dangling from a brooch, but a very quick search and run through my books that are handy, doesn't turn it up...

I think Bohemian, Jablonec. I'd vinegar that.

I'd think the same, maybe late 19th century into the early 20th...

Agreed. I'm wondering if it came from a handbag.

@Ownedbybear - Glad to see you were finally able to get your kitty's photo back up. All this time I thought he was peeking over something, but now know he is looking back over his shoulder. He really was very handsome!!:happy:

Though not made the same, shows the use of the cherry motif on jewelry in 1890: (from Jargstorf's 'Baubles, Buttons and Beads: The Heritage of Bohemia'):
