African Knife ? Pizza spatula? Brick laying tool ???

About 19 inches long, blade edge is tapered but not sharp. looks like the blade was removed from the handle and put back in backwards. Any clues???

Not sure about this one, but it may be an example of iron "hoe money", from Nigeria. Iron was a valuable commodity and, forged into shapes similar to hoes and other agricultural implements, was used as a form of currency. Yours may have been inserted into an unrelated handle.

I'm with 2manybooks. That handle does not look like it belongs to the iron piece

 

Looking at this again, the handle is very similar to Yoruba (Nigeria) dance wands used in ceremonies to honor the Gods Shango and Eshu -

But these are usually carved in one piece, with figures and attributes of the deity being honored. I have not found a dance wand with an inserted blade similar to yours.

I still think it is probably a marriage, but it might have had a use similar to a dance wand.
