african gourds, but from where/which tribe?

    One has a little cross, so maybe ethiopia?

    They are Masai, from Kenya.

    Model and size are quite different from masai gourds i have ever seen (see gourds below) Screenshot_2018-01-03-18-53-50.jpeg

    Newer, smaller, and made for sale as opposed to being intended for actual cultural use. These gourds are popular souvenir items, based on traditional Maasai drinking gourds.

    Thnx Taupou. I did find somewhat alike gourds also attributed to Maasai. 95% convinced now ;)
