Hello to everyone. I am in need of a better way to clean my silver. I am somewhat blessed?? to have an interesing collection of a few intricate silver pieces. I admit to neglecting their cleaning due to the laborious task that it is.
Can I please get some feedback on what some of you use. I am hesitant to use some methods as I do not want to lose metal or patina.
I have had JAX recommended to me....thoughts on this?

All help greatly appreciated including any magic spells that will make it happen instantly.
    Thanks
    Bill

    Hi Bill,
Send it to me I polish it up and send it back. Seriously I love polishing silver. There are NO quick and easy methods. DO NOT ever use the aluminium foil and soda, it removes a layer of silver though I heard it doesn't and never use Tarnex or stuff. Get yourself a nice foaming silver cream. Rinse the piece under HOT water to remove grime and dust makes it easier to polish. If you want quick and easy buy chrome instead.

I just use Wright's paste polish - rinse like gregsglass said, don't use a ton and let it dry a little, it seems to create a little more friction.

I reuse the same old bandana (dry) as a polishing cloth, as well.

Hey Greg! :) Keep on Polishing! it's good therapy, huh?

Oh yeah - I snagged a pair of these at an estate sale and completely forgot about them (even though they're right next to the Wright's jar)

    I've never seen the spray.

    Hi Komo! :)

    Hi,
I make those gloves for friends. Just take a cotton pair soak them in Wrights silver cream and a little water, hang them up to dry. When used many times and are really blackened, wash them and then resoak. I have a friend that is still using the pair I made for her in 1980s. Same with the Sunshine cloths. Just soak them in the polish and a little water, hang to dry.
