Featured Actor Tom Hanks collects typewriters

    Saw a piece on cbs news, an interview with Tom Hanks, who has over 100 typewriters in his collection. He’s also writing books now and a typewriter has a role in each, if I understood correctly. They did the interview in the only typewriter repair shop left in NYC. The report is pretty interesting, u may be able to see it on the cbs website.

    I heard this a while back, when he was being interviewed on a UK TV programme (The One Show). He was very enthusiastic, and now every time we pass an old type-writer in a shop or elsewhere we say "Tom Hanks would love that!" :D
