Acoma Whiteware pottery artist ID help.

    Hi all,
    I picked this piece up at my local thrift this morning.
    After a little searching I determined this is called whiteware?
    About 3 1/4" tall x 5" diameter. Hoping to get some information and possibly a name for the artist. Looks like K C?

    I "halfway" wonder if that "XC" stands for the year "90" as in 1990????

    Interesting. i haven't seen any while searching with dates on them. could be an X though. but with the sloppy NM for New Mexico I was thinking it most likely was a K
