Abstract signed Minaux - but not Andre Minaux? Also painting signature - Cosmos?

I have these 2 pieces - a painting that I think the signature is S. T. Cosmos - but I'm not sure of the Cosmos? Can anyone tell me who the artist is? (not factory, right?)
And a painting? or print? that's signed Minaux that I thought was Andre Minaux, but the signatures I've found don't look like this signature - any ideas who the artist is?
    Thank you!

Your first picture appears to be the work of Andre Minaux. It appears to be a lithograph. I dont see any indication on numbers so maybe just an open edition? I couldnt find another one with a black bulky signature like yours. No clue on the oil painting.

Yes, lithograph. Printed by Mourlot in 1967. Title La Nappe Blanche.

Painting may be a copy of a Picasso?

When you see paintings like the second one, best to leave them at the thrift shop unless you plan on re-using the frames. The Minauxis nice but not of significant value.

I’m pretty sure your second piece is a copy of a painting by Oleg Zhivetin. He’s on facebook so you could ask him.

Thank you all for the help.
if it's not Oleg Zhivetin's signature then I can only sell it as decorative - maybe school of...

I will, but looking at his signature it doesn't appear the same - mine looks like it starts with S.

Journey-How big's your collection of prints & painting ? Looks like you've got a pretty good sized gallery.

My girlfriend & I counted to 275 or so and she quit saying "just say more than 300!"

The Minaux is the cover torn off a paperback book of his work that someone decided to frame. Book has some value ($50), but a torn off cover? Maybe the frame will fit some of your other 300+ pieces, with numbers like that, you probably have a pile of work waiting for frames.

Never mind, just noticed someone resurrected one of your old threads, so I doubt you have this anymore.

I have it in the in-laws house we live in; I like it! But it's not a torn off book cover??

Sadly but truly-you win some, you lose some Mon Ami.It's simply 'Mans Fate'-'La Condition Humain'. But the quest feeds the breath-keep looking,searching-stay hungry.
    Then again-was Minaux a pseudonym of Malraux's ?
Lord-this DaVinci code labyrinth is driving me mad !
