Looks like student work? Or is it more? Has a dreamlike quality to it.. What do you all think of it? It’s 34x44cm. Thank you for any comments

Not abstract. I see a crosswalk in the foreground of a night streetscape painting. Kind of like it but kind of an odd choice of subject. Think the artist was playing off the yellow and black contrast. Very well could be student/amateur.

Thanks for the comment. I did note the street lane but thought it still looked a bit abstract to me (if that makes sense) I agree it is a little odd,but I like a more now than a few weeks ago.

Yes, it is a tree-lined street or path at night, with lights, and I like it too. Not abstract.

Not my thing, but I agree on the crosswalk and nighttime scene.

I get that. I also didn’t like it that much at first.

Like it a lot and I’d call it an abstracted cityscape…

Well glad you like it. An ‘abstracted cityscape’ that’s a cool description. Thanks

Always glad if I can help. I do like it. It gives me vibes of German Expressionism palette aside. There’s a definite mood to it.
