A rare needle work on silk and watercolor

    There is more detail on this Wiki page. Even without the name at the bottom, there are clues to his identity in the image. The palm frond indicates he is a martyr, the cross is of course his Christian faith & devotion. He is wearing clerical robes & a biretta. The biretta & book he is holding tell us he is a doctor of canon law.

    Still a lot easier to work out with the name spelled out!
