    I think this might be Afghan. Can't decide what the beads are made of. They're not amber, anyhow. Green looks like recycled and reshaped glass. P1210442 small.JPG P1210443 small.JPG P1210444 small.JPG

    It isn't Afghan, nor any other ethnic. The hook clasp as such is pretty general but this one looks Asian.
    Maybe Indian, made to appeal to a Western fashion?

    Could be. I’ve had Afghan recycled glass before, which is why I wondered about this one. I can’t work out what the beads are.

    The clasp looks like one I've seen on modern-ish Chinese pieces, sometimes Indian. I've seen those beads before but never IDed them either.

    Are they stone? Major glare in photos but they resemble the color of carnelian.

    I doubt they're stone, and most certainly not carnelian.

    Not stone, way too light and the feel is all wrong. Some kind of “plastic” be it natural or manmade.

    One of those made in a bucket amber simulants from North Africa?
