Old pinup girl, by A.F. Kern publisher, oval or vignette mount on heavy stock. Picture is convex. "He Loves Me" printed along edge. Advertising promotional piece for H.C. Hardware company in Stockton, CA. Excellent condition. Not much info out there for it. Any ideas for the value? Thanks for looking!

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I would say that the most interested potential buyers would be either people interested in Stockton, California history or people interested in old advertising pieces. There is a tear in the mat near the picture and also some holes and spots of discoloration on the front of the mat... so I'd think condition could be described as "good" -- The image is cute, and that might attract buyers also.

The H.F. Kern company apparently printed and sold lots of framed pictures, postcards, etc. A printer and framer, perhaps? They sold out to the Porter-Motter Manufacturing Company about 1910, according to this catalogue item for sale by the new owners. https://www.abebooks.com/Purchased-Business-A.F-KERN-COMPANY-submit/30408188435/bd
