    Hi,
Your plate looks like an English transfer piece circa 1840-1860.

The plate is English transferware. I can't make out the backstamp. The backstamp has lettering at the edge of the roof of the tea house. The first letter may be a C, D or B followed by AMAE. I can't make out the letters after the E. Whatever that says is probably the pattern name. The maker's name is below the tea house. With that horse drawn cart pulling a canopy something and the towers and building on the front of the plate I think might be considered an Asian Minor theme like Turkey?? Following is an edited version of your pic of the backstamp. I have rotated, cropped and tried to clarify/focus the backstamp. It didn't help me in reading the writing. Also it looks like someone has written a 4 or 5 digit number across the tea house.

As to the lamp - not a candleholder, wicks would stick out of those arms. It is a type of a whale oil lamp in disrepair. I can't tell if it is authentic/old or a reproduction from the picture.

Hey thanks guys. thanks a lot. you guys are amazing. il try to upload a better screen resolution pic of this. so the writings on the back would be much clear.
By the way as for the oil lamp, are their any particular marks that you would be able define a fake from a genuine.
    thanks
