    What can you tell me about this little item? Sorry not polished. No marks other than "950 Silver". Approx 2 inches across.

    Debora & Kronos nailed it-that's a really clever little S&P set.Look at the other Japanese S&P's at the bottom of the listing (the little lanterns & buckets-dang !).

    The Japanese loved to make figural S&P shakers! There are some pretty creative and intricate designs. They are quite a few collectors although most don’t go for big money. A nice pair can definitely bring $100-$200 though and rarer ones more.
