I will assume this S&P set is from South or Central America from the motif along the panels. Any idea whodunnit?

I think the design is so 'touristy' that the actual maker, if they had any artistic pretensions, would want to keep their identity hidden and that you should respect that

Love AF's answer, but isn't some Peruvian silver 900 fineness?

Your shakers do look Peruvian. I received these from my Peruvian girlfriend back in the 70's. The couple are not marked and the boats are stamped but faded. They are sterling.

PS, my girlfriend told me the poor Indians make a lot of the tourista silver pieces by hand sitting on a mat near a shack.:( I admire them and their artistic talent, especially since their tools are primative.
