It's a set of six. Any idea of the maker or studio pieces?
    Thanks

Id almost say hobbyist ,but those edges certainly don't look amateur . I think they are gorgeous ! I cant believe you've got six ! Id think a dessert set , but I cant see those actually being used for such, those edges look like theyd chip if you breathed on them .

I'd say hobbyist, rather than the work of a studio potter, based on the three stilt marks on the bottom. Professional potters don't use stilts, or glaze the bottoms of their pieces like this.

The edges are very thin and fragile.
Professional potters don't use stilts? What do you mean? I've seen a bunch of pottery with spur marks, studio, commercial etc.

I'd guess studio pottery, even with the glazed bottom. They do turn up that way. The edges are just too fine for amateur work.

The pulled silt marks are seen on many calif makers 1930s-1960s. The thin, wavy edges and color combo reminds me of three CA pottery companies La Canada, Haldeman/Caliente and Knowles Taylor and Knowles (KTK). All active 1930-1950 or so.

Ice cream and cookies! Those plates are really pretty. They're begging for cookies. Or maybe that's my stomach...oh well, cookies on plates and then execute the cookies. Death by midnight snack.

Right, stilt marks are found on pottery made from molds, glazed and fired in electric kilns...like that made by hobby ceramics, or commercial company kilns...not by professional studio potters.

Ok, so commercial ware also can be seen with spur marks. But what's with the pro pottery pieces not have stilt marks? If you have a runny glaze and want the base to be fully covered you have to use some kind of support, so the glaze does not stick to the kiln shelf, right?
And why the pieces have to be made in a mold to bear such marks? Can't hand thrown pottery have stilt marks as well? I've seen such on Song dynasty pieces.
