6" asian plate with unusual mark

    do we think this is imperial kiln or a folk kiln?

    I'm without clue, of course...but that's a nice piece of porcelain, ss!

    Arguing against Imperial are the several visible flaws, obverse an' reverse...that's just an opinion, tho'.

    In my humble opinion, this looks like a utilitarian piece - often known as 'Kitchen Qing - dating from the 19th century.
    Made in provincial kilns and exported throughout SE Asia.

    Kitchen qing ppl ware . These marks tend to start in Jiaqing/tongzhi in famille rose from my research. Looks 19th to me
