    Hello

please educate me on these miniature portraits. Any age or interest?

Larger frames measure 11.5cm width, 13.5cm height. Smaller 10cm width, 12cm height.

    many thanks

The board visible inside the open one looks like masonite (recognizable by the cloth-like texture on the back of the board). Masonite was patented in 1924, first mass-produced in 1929, and still widely available. Is the painting on the front of this same board?

The frames are uniform, but the costumes of the subjects are approximations of dress from different time periods. The 2 smaller ones are in 18th century costume, while the 2 larger ones are 16th-17th century costumes.

I don't see any other indications of genuine age, and would assume these are modern decorative pieces.

Seconded. This sort of thing was popular in the 1950s in the USA.
