20210128_152304.jpg 20210128_152447.jpg This is a 4 string banjo with no name on it. Wonder if anybody knows if it is worth anything. The case is in pretty bad shape. Thank you

Back in the 1920s these were a hot instrument. Now? You need an Americana or Skiffle player.

It looks like a banjolele. It would help if we could see the back of the pot.

Doesn't look like it is in real bad shape, needs a bridge.
Like Crowleys, I'm thinking it might be a banjo-ukulele (banjolele).
Is there any missing hardware on the side we can't see? What is the length overall? That would reveal whether it is a banjo-uke, or a tenor. A photo of the back of the headpiece would help, then we'd know if it had geared or push tuners, or some other type. The case suggests a date somewhere between 1920 and 1940, as a guess.
I don't recognize the maker offhand.
