image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I grabbed these at the flea market as presents for my daughters, since they like art. Got these for $10. I really, really love the light house painting but the tree painting is a very close runner.

I'm going to contact The Landings Art Assoc. to find out more info about Ervin Sudduth. He passed away in 2012, these were done in 2011. One has a price tag, with a number, for $300.

I just need to get some frames for these.

I have a relative who lives at The Landings. It's just a neighborhood, not an art colony or anything like that. The art association is probably part of their homeowner association activities.

Founded in 1987, the Landings Art Association is one of the largest and most diverse community art associations in the country. We are a 250+ member group with a wide range of experience and expertise, from beginners and those reacquainting themselves with their artistic talents, to award-winning professionals. The LAA serves the artistic community through a series of wide-ranging programs, both formal and informal for the education, and enjoyment of members and guests. In addition, the organization provides many opportunities for display of the artistic efforts of members in a wide variety of venues. All artists and art lovers are welcome!

This artist was 86 when he did these, that's pretty nice for someone of that age. Plus his writing on the verso was so shaky, that it just says how talented this artist must have been.

Very nice. I can see why you scooped these up, Joe! I like them all, but if forced to choose I like the field/farm house best.

I really like the third one. Shaky hands are one of those weird things. It affects some things you do but not others. A lot of people get that problem with true old age, but it steadies down when you're using a different part of the brain. Go figure.

Another vote for the third one being best but I do like them all.
