I know nothing about glass, but the only way to learn is to start buying some! Please forgive me in advance for my poor photos.:( There is also some sticky stuff on the glasses, that I need to go buy adhesive remover for.
Anything you can tell me, is greatly appreciated, and thanks for your time.:cat:
1st one is about 7 1/8" high, and has bubbles in the glass. The top rim's waves (what do you call them?) are not uniform, and flatten out in spots. Also, is this considered a vase?

2nd glass is about 6 1/8" high. Is this called etched?, and it also has bubbles.

3rd Is about 4 7/8" high. There are bubbles, and the rim seems quite thick and blunt. Not sharp, but not smooth. The bottom base looks a little green when held to light.

The design on the 2nd & third piece is wheel cut not etched. As far as etched patterns, think the elegant glass of Cambridge Rose Point or Fostoria Navarre.

The third piece looks like it is missing its lid.

The third one appears to be an apothecary jar missing it's lid.
I think it is the newest piece - 1960s or so.

If you have lighter fluid that will take the sticky off.

I think the rim in that first piece is typical of Italian glass.

Thanks so much Peggy, Pat & Johnnycb!:) So kind of all of you. I'll go research all of it, and I appreciate the education.
