    They look similar to Wagner Handwork animal ornaments, I don't think the wood bases are original.

    They look like Wagner animals but I don't think they used a plain label like that.

    Were you perhaps thinking of Kunstlerschutz?

    (Tho I've never seen a plain Germany label on any of their animals, either...)
